Portraits by Dianne Panarelli Miller

Pictured above are photos of 2 double portraits which Dianne Panarelli Miller painted Saturday at the Artist's Studio & Gallery at Patriot Place. And it only took her about an hour for each one! It is truly amazing to watch how quickly she can capture a likeness.

This Saturday, Dec. 10, Copley artist Dianne Panarelli Miller will paint half-hour portrait sketches for $100 at the Artist's Studio & Gallery at Patriot Place. Portrait Workshop Big Hit

On Saturday, Dec. 3, Copley artist Dianne Panarelli Miller taught a portrait workshop at the Patriot Place Gallery to six members of the Foxboro Art Association as onlookers streamed through the Gallery. The model was the beautiful Joanne Sylvia, pictured above, who somehow managed to keep a straight face most of the day while students and teacher exchanged witty conversation. Meanwhile curious visitors wandered through the gallery, looking over the painters shoulders in awe of seeing real painters paint live. There was lots of unsolicited praise from members of the public -- so much so that we might have to do it again. Speaking of which, Dianne Panarelli Miller will return next Saturday, Dec. 10, to paint half-hour portrait sketches for $100. And even if you don't want to have your portrait painted, you are invited to come and watch a real pro in action. She will begin at 11 am and end sometime that afternoon. The three guest artists this weekend will be Marilyn Healey, Brenda Doucette and Remya Suraj.
