Watercolor Classes

Jerry Aissis, noted watercolorist and teacher, is offering 4 weekly classes in watercolor at the Gallery starting Friday July 10 from 10 am to 12 noon. The cost is $100. Students should bring their own supplies, including 140 lb Arches paper for best results. You can sign up at the Gallery (when it's open on weekends) or e-mail Jerry at jerryaissis@yahoo.com.

Abeille & Honey Will Be Guest Artists

Martha Abeille and Katherine Honey will be the Guest Artists the weekend of June 19-21. Martha is a Spanish Teacher at King Philip High School and a marvelous artist who specializes in colored pencil drawings of Latino culture. Katherine Honey, who is pictured below, is a veteran of our gallery, and paints colorful scenes in all media. Please stop by and enjoy their work and those of the other seven artists who maintain the gallery year-round.

Dan McCole & Holly Bruillette Guesting

The weekend of June 12-14 our guest artists will be the wonderful watercolorist Dan McCole and the young and talented sculptor and painter Holly Bruillette. Dan holds a degree in art but was forced to make a living in journalism. Now retired, he can spend his time making wonderful portraits and cityscapes in watercolor. He maintains a studio in South Boston. One of his paintings of former Red Sox all-star Kevin Youkilis is shown below. Our other guest artist this weekend will be Holly Bruillette, an experimental artist tuned into environmental issues.

Lipstick Artist This Weekend

Laura Osterweis, the "Lipstick Artist", will be exhibiting at the gallery this weekend -- June 4-6 -- along with her Mom, Betty "Betchen" Osterweis, who paints in watercolor, colored pencil, and is also a photographer. They are shown here.

Also guesting will be Dino, who is returning for the second straight weekend by popular demand. Shown here from last weekend is Dino, working on his mandala.
