Polo Barrera has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He lives in Walpole MA working as a Painter, Illustrator and Graphic Designer in the Boston area. His paintings are representational to abstract inspired by nature, his surroundings, and travels.
He is a member of the Foxboro Art Association and the Neponset Valley Artists. His work can also be seen at Gallery 9 in Norwood and the Red Inn in Provincetown.
He also had a one-man show at the Mass Audubon, Moose Hill Wildlife Santuary titled “Strokes of Nature” (interview and work can be seen on YouTube). He has been in juried exhibitions at the Zullo Gallery and the Attlboro Arts Museum.
